The power of appreciation! The better it gets, the better it gets!

One of the best ways to end one year and call in a powerful new one is through the power of appreciation. Appreciation is different from gratitude. Appreciation is the same vibration as love, says Abraham Hicks. When we are grateful we are usually grateful for having overcome something, therefore, we are including, in our thoughts, the vision of what we have overcome.

The more you practice appreciation the less resistance you have. The less resistance you have, the better your life will be. When there is no resistance, the things you desire will HAVE to flow into your life. The only thing between you and what you want is your resistance, your doubt, worry, fear, complaints or pessimism.

Be in a deliberate state of appreciation today. Go out of your way to appreciate others. See how deeply you can activate the vibration of appreciation in your body. When you feel tears of deep appreciation welling up you have reached it.

The holiday season is a perfect way to align yourself with the vibration of appreciation. Give holiday cards to as many people as you can and pour your appreciation on to them. What you give is what you get. I'll send you more tips on appreciation tomorrow.

I appreciate you and all of your loving support.
Go out there and appreciate life, others and your self.
Love,
Patricia

7 Secret Principles to Thinner Peace The warrior declaration.

When I was in my 20's I was willing to do anything to lose weight.  I did diets, diet pills, drugs and exercised, at one point, up to 8 hours a day and somehow it was never enough.  Even though I was thin, I was depressed and constantly in fear of getting fat. Finally I had had enough. This book is written for anyone who wants thinner peace and  is no longer willing to simply go for thinner at any cost. It is also for those who want to embrace who they are physically and spiritual and live the life of a warrior not a worrier.

(In the last blog I talked about the difference between living as a warrior and not a whiner.  If you didn't read that post, scroll down and check it out. )

So how do you get serious about making that change from simply complaining or worrying to intending and  believing? Sati, mindfulness and intention.  The way we make a change is by bringing awareness into our life.  The fist step is noticing, without judgement,  how you feel and what you are doing? Are you happy, depressed, feeling good, alive?  Then take full responsibility for how you feel.

Once you take full responsibility for how you feel then take full responsibility for changing it. Own it, take your power and embrace it.  Remind yourself of it everyday

Then intend your future to be better, healthier and brighter.

One simple thing you can do is to read the warrior declaration everyday for 30 days.  And if you really want to get it into the fabric of your being, read it aloud and in the mirror first thing in the morning and last thing at night. This one very simple exercise is subtly powerful but only if you commit. Try it and see for yourself.  You will begin to notice the words popping up in your mind all day long and they will help guide you in making new choices which lead to a new you.

SATI WARRIOR DECLARATION

Today I stand as a warrior and I choose to be all I can be.
I stand for excellence in all areas of my life.
I look for confidence and approval in my own heart and mind, and what you think of me makes no difference.
I know that it is ultimately how I feel about myself that gives me the experience of my life, and shame, guilt, regret, resentment are the most deadly of all opponents.  The only way they can be defeated is by absolute integrity, or the absence of contradiction between what I know, what I profess, and what I do. I know that when I lie to myself I am severed from my truth, which is my power, and an inharmonious relationship to my truth is deadly.

No one is born a warrior, just like no one is born an average man.  We make our selves that way by the accumulation of steps we take towards one or the other.  I know the power of my mind and I begin every journey confident of victory.  I am only defeated when I have accepted defeat, and the moment I turn my back on my self and my vision may be the moment I halt just short of my goal, and I will make useless all my previous efforts.  My work is to discover my work and with all my heart give myself to it, and by honoring this path I will achieve the greatest victory of all, a life of love, a life I love, and a life well lived.
Today I choose the path of the warrior.

Change your mind, change your body, Change your life

There are two ways to look at things as a warrior or a worrier. Do you live with your attention on what you don't want or you are trying to avoid, or what you do want or are willing to welcome into your life.  Are you a worrier or a warrior?

Worrier or whiner
Complains about her weight more often than not
Talks about how he knows he is never going to lose weight
Thinks about going on a diet often but rarely follows through
Starts a diet but then gets off it and gains more weight than before
Prefers not to look in the mirror
When looking in the mirror looks at what he doesn't like
Talks about how hard it is to change
Worries about getting fat
Believes thin will bring happiness and thinner peace

Warrior
Accepts where she is and takes responsibility to make a change
instead of talking about what he hates about himself focuses on the changes he wants to make
Looks for ways to stay inspired and motivated
Does not look for trendy new diets but ways to make healthy living a lifestyle
Values feeling good
Loves and values her body as her gift and is not only focused on thin at any cost
Knows that happiness is the way to thinner peace

Most often what I see is that those that are successful in creating a healthy lifestyle have more characteristics of the warrior then the worrier.  If you keep your attention on what you are trying to avoid instead of inspiring yourself by focusing on who you want to become, it will be very difficult to find thinner peace.

How will you know if you are being a warrior or a whiner? Notice how you feel.  If you make feeling good a daily intention and you notice when you are not feeling good you can be sure that it is what you are giving your attention to that is making the difference.  If you are complaining, criticizing or judging yourself, your situation or your body you will not feel good.  Be willing to let it go and choose something to appreciate or simply ask yourself, "is this thought supporting or interfering with my goal?"  If the answer is that it is interfering, do what you can to change it.  Give your attention to something else until you feel better, inspired, motivated or simply relief.

Change your mind, change your body, change your life!
Enjoy it,
Patricia

Did you have a Sati meal today? Have one today!

Here are some great habits to practice to improve your relationship to your body and your food. Try making two meals a week "Sati" meals. Bringing more intention and awareness to your eating habits will help you bring more love and balance into your life! What is a Sati meal? Sati means mindfulness and a Sati meal is a meal where your intention is to bring more mindfulness to the art of eating with intention and awareness. Making a few mealtimes a week your time to connect your heart, body and mind will help you become more aware of the sacredness of nourishing your body as a gift.
Twice a week have a Sati meal! Sit, smell, taste, chew, enjoy and respect the moment. Sit. No matter how big your small your meal is, take time to sit down and pay attention to what you are eating. Smell. Use all of your senses to bring in the beauty of whatever you are eating. Before you take your first bite pause and take in the beautiful smell. When you invite all your senses to participate you will enjoy it more. Taste. Don't talk while you have food in your mouth, taste it! Feel and taste each bite. Feel the textures, the spices, the temperature, the whole experience. Chew. Watch how people eat around you. Notice how many people gobble or literally inhale food. During your sati meal make it a point to chew your food. Some experts recommend 20 times. Try it. Enjoy. Don't eat things that don't agree with you because you think you "should" eat it. Every body is different and everything doesn't work for every body. Choose foods you enjoy and enjoy the foods you choose. Absolutely refuse to allow guilt to ruin your enjoyment of the meal. Feeling guilty is worse than the calories. Take the time to enjoy your meal. Respect the moment. Beginning or ending a meal with a prayer of gratitude is a powerful practice. It doesn't have to be long, out loud or even noticeable to anyone at the table. Simply take a moment to look at the meal with eyes of appreciation before your first bite and repeating mentally to yourself, "Thank You" will help you remember to honor and respect your food and your body. You don't have to eat this way every meal but setting aside a few meals a week to practice a sati meal will help you create a healthier and a more loving relationship to food. Eat food, mostly plants, not so much, 90% of the time. Patricia

Take action today! If not now, when?

Today is another day to appreciate that you always have the chance to improve your life, your health, your state of mind or any other area you want to upgrade.

It is important as we face our life, our dreams and our desires to make sure that when we start looking at the things we feel need a little fixing that we don't just sit around condemning what we have, where we are or what we are going through. This is the mistake so many people make. Complaining and condemning cements the problem exactly where it is.

Whether you want to lose weight, improve your health, upgrade your nutritional habits or organize your home, train yourself to focus more attention on what you want and why you want it instead of just letting yourself hang out in disappointment or frustration.

Write down what you want and why you want it. Inspire yourself, give the vision you want for yourself life. Most people never even take this first action step, instead they just moan and groan about what is not good. Write it down! Know what you want! Be clear.

Next, take an action TODAY! If you feel frustrated about where you are there is only one way out and that is to get yourself to take some kind of positive action. If you feel like success is impossible you will not take any action, but if you think success is possible you will open your mind to divine guidance, that is guidance from you heart. Divine guidance will lead you to taking right action!

So ask yourself now "If I didn't think this was impossible what action would I take today?" "Can I take it?" "Will I take it?" "When?". Hopefully the answer is YES and NOW!

There are no wasted steps or actions and no dream is ever realized without action! ACT NOW! You cannot become who you want to be by remaining who you are! It is so empowering to finally take a step in the direction of your dreams! Do it today!

Feel free to post what action steps you decided to take today!

Love
Patricia

Pay attention. Your body knows best!

If you want to change your habits for the long run it is important that you pay attention to the amount of food you are eating. Your body is always giving you feedback and learning to pay attention to the signals your body is giving you will help you determine what you need.

Your body has a natural intelligence that is built in to guide you in your life. It is always guiding you towards your perfect weight and health by giving you signs of comfort and discomfort. According to Deepak Chopra, if you are feeling comfort emotionally, physically and spiritually you are headed in the right direction. Learn to pay attention to the signals you are getting.

Many of us reach for food to ease stress, because of our social situation or out of habit. Deepak Chopra gives us a very important and easy assignment, "eat only when you are hungry"

By practicing paying attention to the signals of hunger and satisfaction and training ourselves to follow the cues our body is giving, us we can develop new lifestyle habits that will lead us to achieve our long term goals.

This scale is from Deepak Chopra's book Perfect weight.
Level 0-1 Your stomach feels completely empty. You are not starving but there is a genuine need that requires satisfaction. You should eat at this level.

Level 2,3 or 4 describes how you feel when you are eating or after you have eaten and you sense the presence of food in your stomach. There is no sensation of hunger present.

Level 5 you start to feel satisfied

Level 6 is the point of maximum comfort. This is where you should stop eating.

Level 7 or 8 is when you feel uncomfortably full

Level F is when you are so full that when you think of food it makes you sick. This is where you cannot eat another bite. This level should be completely avoided.

Level E is when the stomach is completely empty and the feeling of starvation is present. You should eat before you get to this level

Deepak Chopra suggests that you eat to about 3/4 of your stomachs capacity. You should practice stopping at level 6

Try taking on this practice and eating only when you are hungry! Pay attention. Your body is your best friend and your best guide. Let is help you learn to feed it well.

Love
Patricia

It's time to go shopping!

I have been feeling good these past few days. I think that promising not to eat bread no matter what made a big difference. Today my negotiator came up for a minute when I tried to tell myself that a wrap was not the same as having bread but luckily that conversation didn't last too long and I left with a salad and a side of vegetables. Phew! Victory!

This week I went to the grocery story and filled up the refrigerator with lots of vegetables, fruits and my salad favorites! Luckily for me Kellen likes to eat healthfully and we don't have anything in our home that is tempting. That makes a huge difference.

What's in your refrigerator? If you want to succeed in eating more healthfully make sure you have what you need in your home. If you have things you love to eat that are healthy it is going to be easier for you. Do whatever you need to do to support your goals. Take out the tempting options. If you are craving sugar and you don't have it in the house, how likely is it that you will jump in a taxi, or the car and go and get it? Get rid of anything that is tempting. I know some of you have husbands, children that you think won't live without the junk but give it a try! Get then some healthier versions of the treats like frozen fruit instead of ice cream, fruit and yogurt instead of cookies, popcorn instead of potato chips. Yeah, they might whine a complain a little but encourage them to try new things! Just try it! Don't assume they will not want to feel good all the time too!

My food journal today
cup of oatmeal with a teaspoon of coconut oil, agave and sliced almonds
a large salad with 1/4 avocado, zucchini, walnuts, olive oil and vinegar
A cup and 1/2 of nonfat yogurt with mixed berries, agave and a sprinkle of cacao nibs
Chicken soup

Workout Journal
30 minutes of weight training

I am keeping my personal promise to skip the bread no matter what!

What is your personal no matter what promise? What did you choose to eat today? Did you workout? Come on let's hear it! No secrets.

Eating with intention and awareness Having it all call notes

I just finished the eating with intention and awareness call and posting the assignment and follow up info. If you were not on the call and you want to get the recording of it you can order it online at satilife.com by the end of the week or send an email to rsvp@intensati.com and request it.

The topic of the call was "Having it all" I talked about creating your intention for yourself. Mine is to feel good all the time, to feel energized, lean, healthy and better with age. What's yours?

I talked about what it means to have it all for me. Basically I like a version of Michael Pollacks mantra, Eat food, mostly plants, not so much, except I added 90% of the time. To me having it all means there is nothing on my "never eat" list. I believe if I follow this mantra I will be able to 'have it all" and fulfill my intention. How you do you want to eat? Write it out.

The main point of the call was to remember that the way to having it all is by practicing self discipline. You must train yourself to keep your word and silence the negotiator, the voice inside you head that keeps telling you it's ok to break your promise and you can start tomorrow.

The assignment.
Look for people that inspire you and are living in a way you want to live in relationship to food.
It may be more than one. Model them, ask them how they do it. Interview them

Write your intention and memorize it.

Add more vegetables to your diet, if you already eat many vegetables try new ones, get creative.

Watch your portion size especially of the part of your meal that is lower quality and higher calorie food. Keep protein like meat, fish and chicken to the size of a deck of cards or the palm of your hand.

Eat more slowly so you can tell when you are satisfied before you are stuffed. Use a smaller plate and take time before you take the second helping. Check in with yourself and see if you are satisfied enough to walk away.

When you are satisfied or if someone offers you more food when you have decided you are done say "no thank you I am completely satisfied"

Post your daily or weekly commitments here and check in with us daily or every few days and let us know how it is going. Choose things that you can keep your word on no matter what. As you get better at it you can promise bigger things.

Remember these words "No matter what" when you make your promise keep these words tattooed on my mind and the negotiator will not show up as often, if you mean it.

If you are interested in coaching in this area email coach@handelgroup.com. There is a new group starting soon called Dream Body. You will be trained in this area. It is extremely beneficial. Email them for details

Want a great book for food ideas buy "Ultra metabolism by Dr. Mark Hyman or In the defense of food my Michael Pollack.

Give me your feed back, and let me know if you have suggestions for the next call!

Patricia

Are you a good negotiator?

This past weekend was a great relaxing and enjoyable weekend with friends in East Hampton. Kellen and I officially got married on Friday and spent the weekend celebrating! It was lovely.

On Saturday we went to our friends beautiful home, Michelle and Beth. They invited us over for lunch and since they knew I declared to lose 10lbs they cooked a beautiful lunch to support me. It was so sweet!

One of my commitments to myself was not eat processed or refined carbs. I think the hardest thing for me to pass on is bread. I ate bread twice this past weekend. I had it today when we picked up a lobster roll before our drive home and before dinner on Saturday night i had a 1/2 of a piece of focaccia that was on the dinner table.

So the question is, what is the conversation you have with yourself right before you choose to give up on your promise to yourself?

This is the magic moment. Once you ate it or drank it or skipped a workout it's too late. The precious moment is the conversation you have where you are either talking yourself into or out of keeping your word.

This is a very different approach then simply counting calories. Often what we do is we say, ok I'll just have it this time and I will skip____ later. Or we negotiate with ourselves that we will workout extra tomorrow. There is usually one way you negotiate with yourself and talk yourself out of keeping your word to yourself. Usually mine is that I will workout more later!
The important thing here is to remember the way to succeed is to be able to trust yourself to keep your word. Once you are able to make a promise and keep it, you will not have those negotiating conversations with yourself anymore.

Take notice this week when you are negotiating with yourself about whether to keep your promise to yourself or not. What kind of excuses or new promises do you make to yourself to get you off the hook of having to keep your original promise?

If you can catch your negotiator before you give in and say "no negotiating here" you will find that soon that negotiator learns to keep quiet. When you know yourself to be good on your word no matter how much you whine and complain, beg and negotiate you will be able to get yourself to do anything you want to do and that negotiator disappears.

This takes some real sati, mindfulness, and a real desire to succeed. My suggestion, don't over promise. Make one promise a day that you are using as your personal trainer. Pick something that is fairly easy but takes some effort to attain.

Use the mantra "no matter what" and think of your little negotiator as someone who is out to trip you up, get you to fail, is not on your side, is an imposter!!

I myself have not been taking my own advice very well but this week I plan to take my advice!

This week I will not have any bread whatsoever! No matter what! Even if I have nothing else to eat, even if it is my favorite kind, even if it means I have to skip a meal. I will not have bread no matter what!

Keep this in mind, whenever you make a promise not to have something you WILL be tempted. Just be ready to say, "no matter what!" You will feel amazing when you stop the negotiator dead in her tracks and you come out victorious!

One day at a time!
Love
Patricia

Cut 500 calories a day to lose 1lb a week easily.

Eating with intention and awareness call September 9th at 8:30pm ET. It's free. The topic is "Having it all" email rsvp@intensati.com for the dial in number!

3500 calories = 1lb. If you want to lose 1lb a week you have to cut 3500 calories a week or 500 a day.

We can all be enticed by the promise of losing weight fast with quick fixes or extreme diets but the real challenge is to redesign your daily habits so you have a long term transformation instead of the typical ups and downs. This approach is not very appealing because by the time we get to the point the we are fed up and want to lose weight and lose it quick! At this point losing 1lb a week doesn't sound like very appealing, especially if you want to lose a significant amount of weight. But if you are tired of going up and down and ready to make long lasting changes, slow and steady is the answer.

Why I like this approach is because if you take the time to slowly redesign your habits your body will not go into panic mode. If you are used to eating 3000 calories a day and you drop it to 1500 calories all of a sudden your body will react by slowing down your metabolism because it is not getting the excess it is used to.

Look for ways to cut 500 calories from you daily intake of calories. Remember every bite that goes into your mouth counts whether it is off your plate or someone else's, whether you are eating it or drinking it, standing or sitting down or you enjoy it or not! There is a consequence to every thing you put in your mouth. Take your time, eat with intention and awareness and make it fun to look for the extra calories to cut.

Some ways to cut the calories
1. Look for empty calories in your drinks. Soda, juice, sports drinks, alcohol. If you have any of these items in your diet start here! If you drink 2 20 oz bottles of soda a day you are already up to 250-275 cals. Cut this and lose a lb of fat a week!

2. Do you drink or eat dairy products. If you are not using skim milk but 2% or whole milk you can significantly cut calories here. Change your yogurt, milk in your cereal, coffee and cheese to non fat.

3. Look at your portions. If you usually have a large portion of protein and fewer vegetables reverse the portions. Increase your vegetables and decrease your protein to 3-4 oz. This shift will help you decrease the calories, increase fiber, vitamins, minerals and phyto nutrients that are only available in vegetables. If you eat normally eat the skin of the chicken breast take it off and you cut the calories almost in half. With the skin a 40z chicken breast is about 340 cal and without it is about 140.

These are just a few ideas. Take a look at your own diet and see where you can easily begin to trim those 500 calories. If you have been keeping a food journal go back and take a look at it and see where you can shave those extra calories. Make it fun! Be a detective all in the name of love!

My Food for today. I left this morning without having breakfast! Not a good idea when I am on the road, hungry and looking for something healthy to eat. Note to self, be prepared, eat breakfast or pack a snack!

Breakfast on the road choice, a corn muffin

Lunch salad of greens, 1/4 avocado, cabbage, arugula, mixed greens, tabouli salad with olive oil. 1 cup of nonfat greek yogurt with a teaspoon of agave and a teaspoon of raw cacao nibs

Dinner 3 oz of salmon, salad of greens, tomatoes and beans, a tablespoon of brown rice, olive oil dressing.

Water 16 oz

Workout 1 hour weight training

lost 3.5 lbs feeling good. Slowly but surely.

Where can you cut your 500 calories tomorrow? What did you eat today?

Do not use the word diet, you are upgrading your habits!

It is kind of quiet this week!
Here are a few very important points in the weight loss game!
1. Don't expect to be perfect. It really is ok!
2. One bad day does not make you bad, weak or a failure
3. If one way doesn't work, find another
4. Do the best you can do and that is all you can do
5. If one day you eat more than you wish you would tomorrow just get back in the game no starving, punishing or guilt trip necessary
6. Drink a lot of water even if you don't feel like it
7. Do not use the word diet, you are upgrading your habits!

I haven't seen any posts from any of you recently so I am assuming either you are out of town, you are off feeling guilty or bad that you haven't kept yourself in the game, or you just lost your motivation.

I understand I have not been perfect either. I have not been grocery shopping all week so I am not very prepared to succeed. Although I have been eating well and not overeating I did have a piece of chocolate tonight and that is not on my plan.

So come back, post about where you are, it doesn't always have to be good news but if you don't post about your hard times and let it go you just might be sitting around at home feeling bad or guilty or some other really counter productive emotion.

Say where you are and tomorrow is another day!

Are you ready to accept what you cannot change? Do you have the courage to change what you cannot accept? If not now when?

This affirmation is based on the serenity prayer used to begin all 12 step meetings. It is a powerful prayer because we are reminding ourselves of the power of acceptance. There are so many things we cannot change in our lives yet we allow ourselves to complain, judge, hate, dislike, be annoyed with or simply refuse to let go of the complaints we have about them.

Accepting what you cannot change is a major part of recovery of any illness, emotional upset, addiction or non well-being. You must be willing to let go of the very energy that feeds the discomfort, the addiction, the injury or illness and that is hatred, anger or resentment.

Are you still complaining about things that happened in your past, when you were a child, teenager or even yesterday? Why? You will never change them no matter how much you complain, it is a waste of time.

Are you complaining about someone else and how they don't behave like you wish they would? Why? It will never change them, no matter how much you complain!

Are you complaining about your age? Come on! Get over it! The alternative is death.

Even complaining or wishing you weren't sick, injured or overweight is a waste of time. It does not promote healing in any way whatsoever. In fact depletes your energy, your immune system, decreases your physical strength and gets you off the hook from taking action. If you want to heal you have to at least have hope and you cannot be complaining and hopeful at the same time.

Make a list of the things you are complaining about that you cannot change and when you catch yourself complaining reverse it and say to yourself, "Oh! I used to complain about that but it is a waste of my precious time. I have changed my mind!"

Then make a list of things you want to change but you haven't had the courage to change yet and start developing your courage and strength to take any action at all. Any action you take is a huge step. Do what you can do, do anything, do something! What you can do is enough because it is all you can do, and it is enough!

If you want to lose weight order "Think and Get Slim" By Abraham Hicks on amazon.com
It is not a workout but an empowering lesson on how to change your mind.

Today is the only day you have! Don't waste it complaining! Instead spend the time creating and living a life you really love!

Do you believe you WILL succeed no matter what?

So many people don’t succeed at fulfilling their goals because they haven’t taken the time to condition their mind. If you want to succeed to have to develop daily habits or rituals to condition your mind and your body. You have to develop certainty in yourself that no matter what you WILL succeed. There has to be a burning desire within you that fuels you to try and try again, and never give up. Do you have that burning desire to feel great, to lose weight or to live your dream?

Does disappointment in yourself cause you to give up or does it drive you to get up and try again? If you have made up your mind to succeed at losing weight and feeling great, what could stop you? Seriously. Don’t you know that if it was do or die, if you made it a must to lose weight you could absolutely do it? So why can some people accomplish it and others can’t? They don’t have a good enough reason to change, to succeed. Do you?

If you want to succeed, if you want it to be long lasting and different this time you have to condition your mind as well as your body. If you don’t believe in yourself there is no way you will have the success you want.

Create daily rituals that keep your goal a burning desire in your heart. Write in your journal daily about why you want it, create a vision board that has pictures that inspire and remind you. Do intenSati Great Body Great life workout 3-5 times a week. Keep visualizing yourself already there. Keep fueling your fire of desire and keep the dream alive every single day.

Sure you are going to have tough times but if you want to have a breakthrough you will have to be able to be in those hard times and imagine yourself getting through them.

Celebrate your victories and when you fail don’t use it as an excuse to give up. It is easy to be pessimistic, skeptical or a doubter. It gets you off the hook from having to deal with the tough times but it also keeps you stuck where you are.

Stay in the game and be in it to win it no matter what! Of course you can succeed. Just one day at a time!

What would you like to be acknowledged for today?

What if you are perfect just the way you are?

I was listening to the audio book "The voice of knowledge" by Miguel Ruiz. I love this author because of the absolute simplicity in which he passes on information. He also wrote "The four agreements" which I read years ago and the teachings in that book I still remember today. I highly recommend you read these books if you haven't yet.

In the beginning of the voice of knowledge he says that what causes suffering is lying. When we tell the truth we do not suffer but when we tell ourself a lie and we believe it we suffer. He suggests that we are all perfect, that everything about us, our so called imperfections are actually perfect. We suffer when we tell ourselves a lie and we believe it. That the greatest lie we tell ourselves and we believe is that we are not good enough or that we are not perfect just the way we are.

Over 6 years ago I realized how many lies I was telling myself. I realized that most of what I was thinking was a lie. I also used to lie a lot. Whether it was lying about why I didn't want to go somewhere or cheating in my relationships. I was fine with lying. It felt like sometimes it was just the best option, even the "right" thing to do.

In 2002 I met Lauren Zander who is the president of the Handel Method. Her work is based on personal integrity, telling the truth, your truth and living it. It transformed my whole life. The more work we did the more I began to realize how many lies in one day I would tell. I really wasn't sure it was something I would ever overcome. It felt too scary. I felt too vulnerable. It even used to make me mad to have to tell the truth or ask someone else for the truth.

In 2003 I went to a 12 step program called grey sheet. It is a self discipline boot camp! You have to weigh and measure everything. I mentioned it before but one of the reasons I chose to go to grey sheet was because I wanted to learn to be honest. I hated calling a sponsor everyday to say what I was going to eat. I hated weighing every morsel of food that was going in my mouth...for about 3 weeks. After 3 weeks I started to drop weight fast. In the first month I lost like 12 lbs and I was ecstatic and starting to feel proud of myself. I actually started to feel the freedom that discipline and honesty were providing me. It was not easy but eventually what happened was I couldn't hold a lie anymore. The guilt I felt about telling a lie was so overwhelming I could no longer be a liar.

We used to have to call a sponsor before we ate something we weren't supposed to eat. I never did. Actually I told myself I was going to eat it and I was never going to confess. Sometimes I could hold the lie for 3 days but eventually I had to tell. It was an incredible experience to see myself changing, feeling the freedom and waking up.

Now everyday I practice telling everything about my life and my self and I do my best to hide nothing. There are no skeletons in my closet, there are no secrets about me that you can't know. There is nothing I am ashamed of and I don't lie about my age, my sexuality or my losses.
I share my goals my dreams my upsets my fears and my successes. And what I have experienced is the greatest gift of all, Love. I am married to a women I love with all my heart, I love my work and feel absolutely blessed that this is my life, I really do love my body, I am proud of it and I still go up and down 10-12 lbs and finally I'm free and I don't feel ashamed of it. I am learning that it is my so called imperfections that are the best things about me.

I have learned that the answer to freedom is telling the truth and accepting yourself as perfect just the way you are. When we are not hating ourselves for not being perfect we are loving ourselves and that is what fuels our highest spiritual growth.

So my suggestion is to practice telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. No matter how scary it might be it is always the answer, always. And if you don't want to tell the truth about something in your life, it is ok too. There is a time for everything. Know that everything about you is perfect and everything you are learning and going through is all perfect. Relax, enjoy the ride, go with the flow and allow your life to unfold in the perfection it is intended!

What I ate today
A yummy vege burger
A tasty egg white omelette with spinach and a green salad with steamed string beans
1 cup of Greek yogurt and a teaspoon of raw cacao nibs and a few sprinkles of pecans and a drizzle of agave
Baked Salmon (about 2 oz) a large green salad with non-starchy vegetables drizzled with almond butter oil.
2 Litres of water
1 cup of coffee with milk

10lb Countdown Day 3! What did you eat today?

How did you do today?
It is always important to look back and see what went well and what you would like to improve on. When it come to losing weight and being dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle versus just losing weight it is important to be honest and yet not feed any guilt about how the day went. Feeling guilty will completely get in the way of your success.

Writing down what you are eating helps you build a higher level of self awareness and posting it every day raises the bar of awareness. You will most likely think twice about your choices when you know at the end of the day you are going to post what you ate.

I know it makes a difference for me to know that at the end of the day no mater what I am posting what I ate.

Whenever we take on a personal challenge like losing weight it is important to remember there will be hard days and easier days. Every time you make it through a challenging period you will always come out stronger and you build your confidence.

Creating a healthy lifestyle is about endurance, consistency and long term commitment. Know this, our cravings and our food addictions are just habits and it takes time to change them. The longer you go without eating those sugary, refined or simple carbs like bread, pasta, potatoes etc the less you will crave them. It is all just about creating new habits and giving our body a chance to adjust.

What I ate today
1 cup Fage fat free yogurt with a tablespoon of flax seeds, tablespoon of raw cacoa nibs and a tablespoon of agave

Turkey burger and large salad with about 2 tablespoons of dressing. The salad was all greens and a few garbanzo beans no other starchy vegetables

30z salmon and sauteed kale with tomato and garlic made at home by Kellen! Yum
another cups of fat free yogurt with a tablespoon of raw cacao nibs

I drank 1/2 cup of coffee with milk. 2 litres of water.

Workout
30 minutes bike
7 minutes upper body bike
30 minutes yoga
1 hour intenSati

Looking back
I prefer not to have so much animal protein in one day. I like to keep it to no more than once a day. I was feeling a little irritated today, my body was aching and tired. I noticed I wanted to have something sweet even though I wasn't really hungry I ate the yogurt. That is the only thing I could have left out today but all in all I am happy with my day.

Keep remembering why you want it! No matter what, no matter how long it takes, don't get discouraged just stay in the game. It is the only way, be in it to win it, never, ever, ever give up!
Love,
Patricia

I want it, I want it, I really really want it! Now is a really good time. My body now restores itself to perfect weight and perfect health! One day at a time!

The 10lb countdown will you join me?

I am going public with my 10lb countdown so that I stay really present to my goal. My goal is to lose 10lbs by October 5th. I am starting another IVF cycle and it's important for me to lose the 10lbs I put on over the past few months so that I am feeling my best during this challenging time.
Would you like to join me? That's about 2lbs a week. If you are joining me make sure you post it here below.

If you want to join me answer this question.
Why do you really, really want it?
I really want it because I feel better, happier, more connected to myself and others when I feel good in my body. I really want it because I want to get pregnant and I don't want it to be with any extra weight to begin with. I really want it because I know that who I have to be to get myself there is who I really like to be.

I consider losing weight a spiritual practice. It takes mindfulness, love, willingness, self discipline, inner strength and honesty. It takes letting go of old stories about why you can't do it, why it is too hard, why it will never happen. It takes letting go of the resistance to feeling great. It takes letting go of using food as a way to go to sleep or numb ourselves and choose to eat in a way that awakens us and allows us to blossom. Letting go is a spiritual practice. In yoga we learn that to achieve enlightenment we must learn to let go. There is nothing we need to add or fix about ourselves, it is all already there but we have to let go and trust that we are already that which we want to be. Are you willing to let go?

We have to be willing to change. If we want to lose weight and keep it off we cannot rely on quick fixes, diets, diet pills, starving, over exercising, fasting or extreme behaviors. We have to really be willing to change. We have to be willing to change how we see ourself. We have to be willing to change our perspective and drop our excuses about why we can't be, do or have what we really want. Are you really willing to change?

I want to have it all! For years I tried all kinds of diets and weightloss programs. Once I was in a program called grey sheet. It is a 12 step program and it is extremely disciplined. You have to weigh and measure every single thing that goes in your mouth all the time no exceptions. If you lick the spoon or your finger that counts as a cheat and you have to report it to your sponsor. I did learn a level of self discipline and awareness I had never experienced before and that gave me a sense of feeling empowered but I didn't want to live my life like that. I decided I wanted to have it all but the only way to have it all is to have a great level of self discipline.

If you can trust yourself to follow through on your promises you can have it all. That means if you say you are not having refined carbs you don't and then when you say you are going to have one desert you do. It means being able to create a lifestyle that means you can incorporate all of your favorite things but in a way that keeps you living in the body you really feel good in.

This is very challenging for most people. Most people feel better doing extreme things but the problem is then it is almost impossible to live that way so the yo-yo syndrome, the up and down, the on and off becomes a way of life. Then most people just loose the strength to try again because they have failed so many times before they no longer believe in themselves.

Building the power to choose day to day and follow through is the Sati life way. Building a higher level of self awareness and self discipline which provides us with the freedom we are yearning for. No longer feeling out of control but feeling empowered that we can keep our word to ourself.

My plan for dropping this 10lbs is
workout 6 days a week at least one hour
no refined carbs or sugar, that means no bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, cereal or sweets
my meals consist of raw and cooked vegetables, nuts, yogurt, fruit, eggs, fish and vegetable juices.

My mantra is
I want it, I want it, I really really want it! Now is a really good time!
My body now restores itself to perfect weight and perfect health. I am willing now!

Did you see me dancing naked in Union Square Park?

Hi friends,
This has been quite a week for me! On Monday I had a great opportunity to choreograph and dance in the opening number for Tyra Banks premier show that will air September 8th.
Tyra had been taking dance class and said she loved my choreography so she asked if I would choreograph a number for her and 50 other dancers. Of course I said yes, although after I found out that at the end of the number she wanted all the dancers to strip down to bra and undies I began looking for a way to back out of the whole thing! Seriously, I was not interested in being in front of millions of viewers and hundreds of New Yorkers in my underwear.

I changed my mind when the producers of the show assumed I was going to be dancing front and center. Why I thought it was a good idea to be naked next to super model Tyra Banks anywhere, I am not sure, but I did say yes!

When the moment came to strip down and pose for the cameras and paparazzi I had to seriously get over myself and just do it. It was a strange moment. In that moment I had to drop, not only my clothes but my biggest fear, being naked in front of people I am not intimately involved with. If anyone would have asked me to do that a few years ago I would have said no way! Back then I would have most likely sabatoged the whole thing and not even taken the job.

It is so interesting to think about all the things we don't let ourselves do or have when we aren't happy in our body or with ourselves. I have certainly been in much better shape in the past then I am now but I don't think in the past I would have done it. I think why I was able to get over it and do it anyway was simply because, although I value being in shape, fit, committed to a healthy lifestyle, I don't think it defines me like I used to.

But a true confession be told, I did realize I am not in the shape I want to be in and I have been living with an extra 10lbs on my body for the past 4 weeks. It did get me inspired to drop the 10 and feel better.

So here are a few questions for you:
Where might you be holding yourself back and using your body as an excuse?
Are you comfortable with your body?
Would you be willing to dance in your underwear on national TV or in Union Square park?
Are you avoiding doing things like going to the beach, falling in love, being intimate, going on interviews or auditions, making new friends, going out, going to the gym or anything else because you are not happy in your own skin?

If you are not fully proud and happy with your body and it is holding you back here is what I suggest.

1. Drop the complaining about it and truly accept where you are. Complaining only keeps you stuck. You will never have the body you love by hating the one you have!
2. Remember, you cannot lose the weight in one day. Don't put off doing the things you want to do until you lose the weight. Do it now. Procrastinating never leads to accomplishment!
3. If being overweight is really weighing you down, lose the weight! Of course it will take some inner strength to do it but that strength you develop will impact your entire life.
4. And last but not least, dance around in your underwear even if it is in your own home with no one watching. It is interesting how for many even that is a challenge!

The big lesson is don't always try to be comfortable! Get out of your comfort zone as often as you can. We spend way to much time trying to avoid being uncomfortable, embarrassed or disappointed. Instead spend more time training yourself to be comfortable with the discomfort. You will notice many more opportunities opening up for you when you are opening yourself up to them.

Confidence is sexy. It is not about how much you weigh, if your abs are totally flat, or if you don't have cellulite on your thighs. There are very few people in the world that fit that list of so called 'perfection'. Do what you need to do to feel good in your skin. Live a life you love in a body you love! Don't wait!

If you want to see the Tyra show, it airs September 8th!

Love,
Patricia

Eating with intention and awareness

I just had my first Eating with intention and awareness call. It began with a bit of chaos because a few people were given a non working dial in number but after a rough start it smoothed out. There were 150 people on the call and I was supported by Lindsay Davis, an intensati leader who has a passion for supporting people in eating with intention and awareness as well and who will be supporting the calls.

Just a few notes for those who were on the call and for anyone else who wants to participate in the monthly assignment.

The topic of the conversation tonight was looking at how we see and deal with our body as a spiritual journey. That each and every one of us has to figure out how to take care of our own body and when we learn to deal with it powerfully and lovingly our whole life is positively impacted.

Write a power statement for yourself.
I went over in detail on the call how to get your your own power statement but basically it is if you were on your death bed and I asked you " was you life a success in the area of your body?" You would answer no and give the reason. No because I never mastered my relationship to myself. I never learned to love and respect myself and that impacted my whole life" Then you make that into a power statement or a goal.
Here is an example of one.
"my life is a total success because I mastered by relationship to myself. I really learned what it means to love and respect myself"

"my life was a total success because I learned how to make being happy a priority and I really learned to rid myself of my negative eating habits!"

"my life was a success because I really was able to end my addiction to sugar which led to me losing ___lbs and finally believing in love!"

(if you want to hear the full details download the call from my website. Go to saitlife.com then click on the store, then events and you will see where you can download it)

Your emotions
Notice that feelings of guilt and shame keep us disconnected from our power. The goal is to stay away from the foods that trigger those feelings or learn to stop, enjoy the food you choose to eat and be able to drop the guilt, shame or disappointment you allow yourself to dwell in afterwards. The point is that we cannot make powerful lifestyle changes from a disempowered state. Our goal is to fuel feelings of love, appreciation, courage, gratitude and self respect.

Secondly is to develop a stronger relationship to your word. Practice this month making a food promise to yourself and keeping it. The only way to get yourself from a feeling of being out of control to a feeling of empowerment is to develop trust in yourself. The way you are going to make lifestyle changes and not just quick fixes is to be able to say you are going to do something or not do something and you actually do it. There is no other way! It is between you and you. Without the ability to trust yourself to keep your word to yourself you will feel like there is nothing you can do to improve your life. If you keep thinking it is because you haven't found the right diet, diet pill or you don't know the perfect carb to fat to protein ratio for you will never find the answer you need. It is not the diet, it is the ability to get yourself to follow through, to do what you want to do, to do what you know will make you proud and feel good!

The assignment for the month
1. Make a list of foods that trigger your feelings of guilt, shame, disappointment in yourself or feel of lack of self control. Usually sugar, junk food and refined carbs.

2. Notice when you eat foods that are on this list how it makes you feel. If you do choose to eat these foods, ENJOY it! Don't waste it by feeling guilty about every bite or beating yourself up about it afterwards. That is what opens the door to overeating more. Guilt, shame and disappointment do not burn calories or fix the past. Drop it!

3. Every day make one personal promise to yourself. Make it easy! It is not about cutting calories as much as it is a practice on saying you are going to do something and doing it. If you say that tomorrow you are going to drink 8 glasses of water then tomorrow, no matter what, drink 8 glasses of water. Even if it gets to 6pm at night and you only drank 2 glasses then you better gulp down the other 6. This way you will prove to yourself you are serious and next time you won't forget to keep your word! Keep your word no matter what!

4. Acknowledge yourself or have someone acknowledge you. Have someone ask you, or you ask yourself, "what would you like to be acknowledged for?" Then you say something like, I want to be acknowledged for drinking my 8 glasses of water and for getting to the gym tonight even though I didn't want to. Then you say, or your friend, lover, husband, boyfriend etc.. acknowledges you. "I want to acknowledge you for drinking those 8 glasses of water. I know it was a challenge since you had to fit them all in at the end of the day. Great job! And also for getting yourself to the gym even though you didn't want to!" This is so important because the emotion you go to sleep with will be the emotion you wake up and start your next day with.

I hope this was helpful in developing your strength in eating with intention and awareness. For more information about me or Sati life go to satilife.com or patriciamoreno.com

You can download the mp3 file of this call for 10$ at satilife.com. Please excuse settling in at the beginning.

Please send me your comments, ideas, sugestions for other topics, or how often you would like to participate in an eating with intention and awareness call. It will help me develop exactly what will best support you in living a life you love in a body you love!

good night,
Patricia

Are you ready to ask for what you want?

Once a month I get together for a group meeting with the girls. We get together and work on our dreams, manifesting and supporting each other. It is led by Lauren Handel of the Handel group life coaching. This month my assignment was to get clear about what my dream for my business and to ask for bigger things. (For more info on life coaching go to my website satilife.com)

My big obstacle is I don't like to ask people for things. This month I am working on finding the people who can write the testimonials or quotes on the back of my book, or who are willing to write an article on my book that is coming out in January. Yes I have a pr person but I also have many personal connections and friends with connections.

I am also working on improving my dvd sales so that I can generously repay my investors and make a new one! My assignment is to go out there not worry about getting the "no" but to get as many as I need to until I get to the yes!

So would you like to join me? Where are you stopped, playing small, worried about being turned dow? Where have you lowered your expectations so that you don't have to go out of your comfort zone and face possibly being turned down or rejected? When I stop to think about it, what is the big deal of someone saying no? All I have to remember is eventually I will get a yes and since I am determined to succeed I can handle the no!

Part of the series this month is "I am ready to fail, I am determined to succeed, I can handle it, now!" I am in training this month to shift my perspective about asking for things, selling my dvds and going for what I really want instead of lowering my expectations so I don't have to worry about being turned down. How about you?

And by the way, If you do not own your copies of the intensati workout dvd's intention and power and great body great life, go to Satilife.com and order a few for you and your friends! If you have never tried the workout before, get these dvd's and see what it is all about. It really is a revolutionary mind and body program that will absolutely positively impact your life! Let's grow together! Go out there and ask for what you want! If you don't ask how do you expect to get it! Let me know how it goes. Post here what you are going for and what you are willing to go for!
Love, Patricia

IF you are in fire island or close enough to come by, I am teaching this weekend, the 8th and 9th at 11am on Saturday and Sunday at the Pavillion. The cost is $20. If you need more info rsvp@intensati.com

Are you believing in your fears or your dreams?

Once a month I meet with 8 of my closest friends. We are more than just friends, we know every thing about each other and we coach each other on living big.  Lauren is the one who directs the meetings and the work we do is based on the method of life coaching she developed called "The Handel Method".  I have been being coached by her for about 6 years now.
Last night we had our monthly meeting and the first thing we do is go around and give each other updates on our lives since the last time we saw each other. It was the first time I had seen them since I had the miscarriage.  They all knew of course, but it's different when you see your friends face to face and share about how you feel instead of over an email or text.

So when it came to be my turn I shared my heart out.  I shared about my disappointment and that I was going to try again.  Lauren suggested that what my truth was was that I was not believing and that I was scared and mad.  She was right.  I realized I was scared, mad and not believing.  She suggested I write down all of the thoughts I have been having. All the thoughts, the bad and the ugly and until I really can be with the truth of how I am feeling I will not be able to get to the other side.  That I will not be able to get to believing in my dream if I am believing in my fears.  I had been believing in my fears.  If I wasn't believing in my fears I wouldn't be so upset.

So I shared that I am scared I will not get pregnant, that I am too old and that it will never happen.  That I am so upset that I have to do it again and I just want it NOW! I don't want to wait anymore. I am tired of waiting. Everyone else around me is pregnant and it is not fair that still I am not pregnant.  I am scared that I am not going to have my dream of being pregnant and although adopting is a beautiful thing to do it is not what I want! I want to be pregnant and I want it NOW!

The real work here is getting myself to believe and I think the way to believing is by telling the whole truth about what the negative thoughts are having instead of tucking them away and putting a smile over them.  It won't work because if we are hiding them it is because we are believing them and we don't want to acknowledge them.  Bringing them to the light and sharing them and saying them out loud helps to disempower them.

So I shared my fears out loud with my loving beautiful class this morning and I just told the truth. Then we did intenSati and I am in a different place now!

The lesson is that we take our thoughts so seriously and when we have fears we often try to stuff them away or ignore them. The problem with that is that when we ignore them or stuff them away they get louder and bigger.  If instead we look at them, say them out loud and question them, they lose their strength.  It is like pulling the weeds in the garden before you plant the flowers.

Don't be afraid of your true feelings.  Tell the truth and then you can move on.  Learning to really believe is a deep spiritual practice and sometimes we need a little help from our friends.

If you are upset and feeling sorry for yourself, take Lauren's coaching and write down all of your negative thoughts and worries and get them all on paper.  Tell the whole truth and then you will not be so afraid of them and they will not feel so real to you anymore.

Keep the faith!
Love,
Patricia

I almost sold out on my dream today! How about you?

Today I went to go see my acupuncturist at the Berkley Center in NYC. Her name is Erin Hessel.  We were discussing our plans to move forward. Acupuncture for fertility is quite common these days and I have been up to anything that really will increase my chances.

Kellen and I had been worried about the cost of both of us doing the extra acupuncture treatments but I had been set on doing whatever it takes to improve my chances.  In my mind earlier I had already decided that one positive thing about my last miscarriage was that I would have another chance to get pregnant with my egg.  Our real dream is to fertilize Kellen's eggs and mine and pray for twins but of course be thrilled with one. If we have multiple fertilized embryos we will both try and get pregnant and see what happens.

As I sat with Erin today and I started to discuss with her the chances of me producing follicles this time around I felt myself getting discouraged and saying, well maybe we should just have Kellen do the acupuncture to improve the quality of her eggs since its such a slim chance for me.  She did agree that if one of us was going to do it it would be best to have Kellen be the one.  I almost gave in to that and then I caught myself and realized that if I didn't really give it my best shot this time I regret it. Yes it is a long shot but there is a chance and I don't want to miss this chance.  For what, a few dollars? Seriously? I was willing to sell out on our dream for money?  Then as I thought about it I realized the real reason I was back peddling was because I was getting nervous about feeling the disappointment again of not producing follicles. I was making my decision based on fear and not on hope or love.  I was trying to avoid more heartache and pain but if I made the decision not to go for it I would be closing that opportunity forever. I want to give it one more try, just one more and see what happens. I believe in miracles, I believe in the power of prayer, I believe that anything is possible so I am going to make the decision based on that. Erin wholeheartedly agreed and agreed to do her part 180%!

So I almost sold out on our dream today. I almost let fear win in my decision making. I could have easily said we just can't afford it but I would have always known it was fear and I would have had to live with that decision.

We decided together that we are both going for it and hold our dream in our hearts, do everything we can and let go of the outcome.  What will be will be but we are going to do our part in supporting our dream and the rest is out of our hands.  No matter what we are never giving up and we are in it to win it! Love is on our side.

Where are you selling out on your dream? Where are you making your dream smaller so you don't have to deal with disappointment or failure?  Where are you making your decisions from fear instead of faith or love?

Living a Sati life means you are willing to live consciously and keep improving the conversations you have with yourself daily. Learn to bring more love into your thoughts, words and actions and live the life you dream of!

What is on your list of things you are unwilling to share?

I have learned such a valuable lessons in this past week and a half. When I was growing up I had a very difficult time expressing my feelings, telling the truth about what was going on in my life and also letting people in my personal life.  When I developed intenSati I realized that what had people perk up and pay attention to what I had to say was my willingness to share my personal situation.  I made a choice early on in my Sati teaching to be open, intimate and have nothing on my list of things that I was unwilling to share about.

The only reason I was able to make the choice was because my intention was to make this practice real, powerful and personal so that it would get to the hearts of my students. I knew if I could speak to their hearts then they would be able to soften and open to themselves as well. What I didn't know was how much it was actually helping me soften and get into my own heart.

Over the years I have shared many of my challenges and struggles but when it came to choosing to share about my desire to have a baby I hesitated and asked myself if I could really share something that was so out of my control. What if I failed, would I look bad? Would people be too sad for me that I couldn't handle it? Could I really openly share that much emotion?

I chose to do it because I knew that no matter what the outcome it would be a valuable lesson for anyone to see how I use the Sati principles to deal with what every person in the world deals with, fear of failure and disappointment.

When I got pregnant I was so happy and relieved that I could finally, after a year and a half of trying to get pregnant, celebrate with everyone.  I knew that sharing early on was a big leap. I could have just shared with the 400 or so people in my class instead of the 6000 or so people in my community. I chose to go all the way!

Well here is where the greatest gift came in. After I shared about my having a miscarriage I received so much love and support.  I know I touched on this earlier but I felt it was important enough to really impress upon you the gift I have received.  The sharing, something I would never do before was actually how I was able to move from deep disappointment and fear to optimism and faith.  I have not just put the sadness to the side and am ignoring it. I shared it. I felt it and because I had a chance to share it in every class and through my blog, posts and tweets I have healed so quickly.  The amount deep caring I felt from all of you was so profound that it made me feel even more deeply connect to you and to myself.

Now I am on the other side. I am feeling optimistic again. I have been able to shift my perspective from why is this happening to me to why is this happening for me and I have found so many reasons why.

What I hope you will come away with from this is that when you let people in and let them know you, love you and support you, you will find your healing, your courage and your self love growing.  It is not healing to stuff away or hide your emotions and sharing with people who will  remind you it is all ok and it is all going to work out will help everyone grow.

The lesson learned was, when we keep something to ourselves it is often a sign of fear that we will look bad, we feel ashamed or we don't want others to really know us on that intimate level.  I know, I have been there. Now I have felt the power and the healing of sharing and I suggest you go deeper in your sharing. The more you give the more you get.

Ask yourself what is on your list of things you are unwilling to share with your friends, family and loved ones.  Let love in!

Love
